About Arrival Benefit Solutions
I run a group insurance business that provides employee benefits from health, dental, and disability solutions to group Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSP). After spending twenty years as a productivity consultant, my lovely wife introduced me to the intriguing world of insurance and investments. As I began to learn more about this industry, I gradually noticed that the group benefits niche resonated with my existing skills and soon began to focus on this area of the insurance and investment industry.
I have been a leading group benefits specialist in the Chatham-Kent region for over five years, and have consistently focused on growing my business. Today, I serve clients from across Chatham-Kent, London, Sarnia, Leamington, Windsor, and the surrounding areas. I believe my strong bond with my clients and passion for helping others naturally transcends into excellent customer service, which has helped me grow my business significantly.
Group benefits are annually renewable and monthly cancel-able contracts, so it is a year-round pursuit that keeps me on my toes. Moreover, as my business generally coincides with company owners wanting to be more cost-effective or get better service, or those owners looking for information on starting a benefits plan for the first time, I always have something to do to ensure my clients are happy.

When working with a business owner, my job is to design the best plan with the lowest rates possible, regardless of the benefits provider. I will shop from carrier to carrier to find the best rates and terms on their behalf. As I see myself as part of their team and am commitment is to the business owner, not the benefits provider.
To keep my clients continuously happy, I commit to delivering excellent customer service and guaranteeing satisfaction throughout my interactions with the client. I have the necessary skills and experience to take care of their needs as I have acquired Life and Mutual fund licensing. Simultaneously, with access to a Certified Financial Planner, I can help my clients plan employee benefits accurately and help them save money too.
I stay up at night thinking about a client's benefits challenges so they don't have too, ensuring they get the options they're looking for and are happy with the outcomes. Another aspect that keeps my clients satisfied is my honesty. Being truthful is paramount in this business, as no one likes surprises. As a result, even if the true picture leads to a tough conversation, I’ll make sure to be upfront.
Over the years, my hard work has paid off significantly, as my clients see me as a reliable professional today. Employee benefits are a very competitive market, where clients can sometimes move from advisor to advisor every few years if they are unhappy. But, when it comes to my services, I am proud to say that in the last five years, my client retention has been well over 95%.
Another achievement I am proud of is being named the Financial Centre Group benefits sales leader from SunLife Financial 2018. In the years to come, I will continue to grow my footprint in Chatham-Kent and become “the” go-to and most trusted advisor for all things group benefits related.
Currently, my customer base is very diverse, as I focus on businesses with a strength of three to twenty-three employees and higher. I have a great base of construction-related clients due to my relationship with the Home Builders Association. At the same time, I have clients in non-profit, healthcare, accounting, automotive, agriculture, manufacturing, and several other industries.
When I’m not looking for great benefits for my clients, I aim to benefit the environment. As the President of a Rotary club that focuses on water conservation efforts, I do my best to introduce efforts that make a difference. I also work towards increasing awareness about current water quality issues, possible remedies, and future possibilities.
